Welcome to the West End Inn in Portland, Maine

West End Inn was given a dose of design update in 2013, but with respect to our loyal return guests, the personality of the property was maintained. Several of the guest rooms retained the familiar Waverly wallpaper in honor of repeat guests while the décor was freshened and brought current with such amenities as alarm clocks with iPod docks. Three of the guest rooms and common areas were completely redesigned in a stimulating and whimsical fashion. There is truly something for everyone at the West End Inn.

The library and dining room are bright, fun rooms decorated with colorful summer flair. A juxtaposition of contemporary art and traditional appointments harmonize, providing a delightful oasis for a romantic interlude, a business stay, or a few days of shopping, theatre and dining. A revolving display of Maine art is always unique and captivating, and changes regularly, so there is always something new.

We eagerly anticipate the return of former West End Inn guests and look forward to welcoming new guests to the Inn and to Portland.
